Single-Game and Slate Contests
FanDuel runs both single-game DFS (Showdown / Single-Game) and traditional multi-game slates. Single-game contests are popular for Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football because they require less roster construction and offer fast, concentrated payouts. Multi-game slates remain the higher-handle product on weekend NFL action.
Differences from DraftKings
FanDuel uses a slightly different scoring system from DraftKings — point-per-reception variants differ, kicker scoring rules differ, MLB scoring weighs hits differently. Many Nebraska DFS players run identical lineups on both sites or use one to hedge the other. FanDuel typically has softer NBA lineups and slightly stronger NFL pricing.
Promotions and Bonuses
FanDuel offers deposit bonuses, ticket-back promotions and free contest entries that compete with DraftKings. Nebraska residents can claim and use these the same as players in other states. The product is essentially identical in capability to FanDuel's offering in mobile-sportsbook-legal states — only the sportsbook itself is missing.
